Delivering Happiness - Book Giveaway

I’ve followed Zappos and their CEO, Tony Hsieh’s blog for quite a while. Recently I read about his latest project, his new book, Delivering Happiness. While researching its release, I read about an opportunity for bloggers to receive an advance copy of his book to review and promote. I applied, was surprisingly approved, and recently read the book. I’ll be posting my review next week when the book is officially released. So, stay tuned.

In the meantime, I’m offering the readers of this blog an opportunity to win a copy of Tony's book. Cant wait to read the book. I wonder how happiness is compensated in the markets. I wonder if there is a premium for it or is it just the price of survival.....or is it just a passing fad in a time of ever increasing belt tightening where profits seem to take priority over values.

What does into the white space mean?

The White Space is defined as the opportunities and imperatives that arise because of sudden, far-reaching, and/or unpredictable external events. Such events include dramatic market shocks (such as the 2008 financial meltdown or the 1976 Arab oil embargo); the rise of powerful enabling technologies (such as the Internet and the electric grid); or dramatic shifts in government policy (such as airline deregulation or the Chinese government’s liberalization of the Chinese economy). In our case, it's the rapidly changing healthcare landscape and the rise of the healthcare consumer. Where is your White Space? (see 4-14-10 post)
